vet visit-

yesterday’s visit to the vet was so trumatic both for me and brownie… we put her in the basket and she was like so scared (wide-eyed, shivering, ears prick up) and was like that thru’out the trip to the vet… sigh. when we reached there the vet was very young and inexperienced so she did not know how to carry the rabbit out so we had to do it… be coz the nature of the basket and the whole environment i was unable to get a firm grip on brownie and she kept kicking when she was out in my arms… i managed to survive with three scratches on my tummy (think of x-men’s wolferine’s claw marks….)as her claws went thru my t-shirt. thankfully my mum took over and managed to get her on the examination table… in which brownie responded by running across the table to the vet’s sink and knocking down almost everything in her path (computer, mouse, bottles of medication, files….u get the drift.) until she stopped at the sink… we all tried to carry her again and she ran back the same way again knocking over whatever she missed the first time….i was shocked. shows how much she hates visiting the vet huh>? managed to calm her in the end with a huge towel supplied by the vet… her heart was beating very fast and all. i hope she is okiez… she looks fine now able to eat and let me stroke her and all. thank goodness. we survived. 😛

prelims.

sigh. i hate to say this but prelims is on its way… sucks rite? i already got the exam timetable and i can never understand why they have to put amaths and ss on the same day and history and bio on the same day… dun they know it is impossible to sore so much info in our heads?

anyway went for this SYF art and craft exhibition at hobourfront, some of the works are really very good! but some i must say i dun know how they can get a gold. seriously. the paintings were generally more well done and all. and the animations were of very high standards!very nice. hard to believe students actually did them.

was listening to the radio yesterday to rod and jean they had this programme where they called up a place to check their good service. so rod called up this place and pretended that he was interested in buying a condo.. the sales assistant was very nice at first until… rod said he now lives in a three room flat… and her attitude totally changed! she was like "in that case i hope ypou check with your bank for the loan" and she hung up on rod even b4 he finish speaking! irritating lady. shows just how bad our service in singapore is. talk about the "smiles" project… singaporeans just cant do it well unless they know b4 hand. sigh. i feel sad for our country.

i m like getting all excited to go europe end of year!!! my mum says the preparation is more fun than the trip… sounds so true coz we are like trying to look for a good value hotel which is near the tube and the west end and has all the services we require. the prices are not cheap… so we are just trying to source. 🙂 cant wait… this is kinda affecting my studies though… causing me to have a shorter attention span. sigh.

theft cases-

i m been hearing this more and more, not only at sch but also around the neighbourhood and it is getting more frightening! at school more money and even out food and funfair coupons have been stolen and the thief is getting away scott-free. that’s the worst thing! many classes (wont mention which…) in my level had the cases happening over and over, teachers have been informed but we simply cant do anything about it!

And getting my recent flu jab my family doctor (wont mention who) said someone came and stole his whole bottle of cough mixture which is about a few litres! and did not even leave any for him to use… the worst is that there have been no signs of break in! so it is either an insider job or the person has the key somehow… he is very distressed about the case coz the market rate is a lot od money and he has to change all his locks and also report the case. and this is not the first time. my first thot was like… a drug addict. coz apparently i ve seen a guy around wanting to buy cough mixture from one of the shops near my hse but the guy refused to give him…and the customer looked very very very desperate. my mom says he must be some kind of addict. means there’s a drug addict ard the place somehow… now i m getting realli worried.

i hope i can do something like set a trap for these thefts of something esp the cases in my sch… but i dun know how to start! sigh. dun these ppl or person know it is wrong to steal???

daisy-

heh today was quite a slack day besides the speech of coz… which i shan’t talk about coz it is so…embarassing. *buries head in ground*
was watching this show called "Daisy" during lunch… it was enqi’s. it was so nice. i mean i like the way the characters hardly talk and it is all shown thru their voice-overed thots. wad a great job on the part of the director. it is a Korean movie btw. and i also liked how the director placed the three characters on the same screen in different places to show the agony they are going thru. lovely scenes of daisies too. wish i could go there and paint the scene too like the lead lady coz the fields look so… preetty. lolz. There is so much tension in the show and i think that is wad keeps us so intrigued! It is not your usual romance story of triangle relationship coz both man has got so much about their identity to hide that they are unable to come out in the open. Of coz Korean shows nvr fall short on good looking actors and actresses… i esp like the girl. so pretty. the guys are ok, one of them look good smiling the other one shld be the dun smile,act cool kind. yepps. it amazing how the three actors are able to hold the whole story together without much help from the supporting cast (made up of a few extras…). havent finished the story yet but i think the director did a beautiful job. 🙂

horrible day-

i think i almost died yesterday. like after recess it was eng lit… my brains were so tired already and we had to analyse a poem "a newspaper is a collection of half-injustices" i swear the whole room was like… in Protest, surprised no one actually went on strike. only jane was scribbling furiously beside me… yepps. jasmine and i were like what does this mean? our discussion was like: "who does the player refer to?" silence. "what does feckless mean?" silence. you get the picture. so i just crapped smth up… hope ms foo doesn’t vomit blood when reading my answer.
then eng was like had to do NSW. 60 questions in 60 minutes. its like one minute per question with NO time to read the passages. even the vocab they ask us to explain, the options they give i dont even understand those words! i think if those words came in the passages i probably have to explain them too!
then got chem. test. which was okie except i was like all half-hearted by time i reached that time of the day/. yepps.
after sch : aep. did one panel halfway when i got disrupted by nosy AV ppl… who seem to poke their nose in everything. and they have realli loud voices put together… so escaped to nxt room to help mei siew do her work… i thot her how to use the electric wheel! so proud of my self that i havent lost "the touch" lol. then went back to do my work. after finishing the panel… mr lim was like "so you coming back tmr to help me load your panel in?" i was like "no of coz not… dun want to come back just for that, juz be careful and dun break it when u put it in kaes?" and he was like all… "oh dun blame me for anything that goes wrong… i m weak.
right… i m quite sure he could ve done it. he is a tchr right? he is an artist right? he shld be used to it..no?
anyway to ensure my panel’s survival i brought the hairdryer over to dry it so i could put my work in the kiln…sigh.
so that’s my horrid day in brief. ciao.

flag day.

heh. did a sorta flag day today which was to sell these cute tiny tees for $5. its nice but no offence… it is pricey. no one wanted to buy! i only mangaed to sell about 5. but ppl bought the collar pins. realised that malays are more willing to give. kinda makes me slightly bashful that i m a chinese. i gave to the heart foundation flag day ppl too! 🙂
