this not the kind of music i like to listen too but…the phenomenon that Gangnam Style has reached is too hard to ignore.
first it got everybody else globally parodying the video, then famous people got talking about it, like UN chief Ban Ki Moon
and the performance at the American Music Awards just put it another level up in my books.
the dance was amazing, the song was catchy but look at all the glamorous audience grooving into it… a song whose lyrics no one there probably understood. the universal language of music? maybe. i am impressed by how it connects people.
that and i feel like i am sweating just watching them.
